my belated belated post.
so, i'm back. now 16. whoopeedoo. although i've had six days to get used to being a year older, it actually doesn't feel like 16, anyway. there wasn't a sudden burst of sixteen year old energy, nor the wonderful feeling of liberation. (that's what they say we are supposed to feel in books).now so what if
it's my sweet sixteen,
--it's just sixteen.
i'm officially a young adult,
--i still love my stuffed toys and nothing's going to change that
i can watch NC16 movies,
--i don't have time to catch a movie anyway
underaged sex no longer applies to me,
--i've got no sex partner, ta-da.
but really, when the wonderful batch filed into the classroom on that morning (minus celeste, who overslept, what's new you wonder, the skies still haven't fallen, pigs still aren't flying.) with the not-so-wonderful cheer and cupcakes, (two for eating and the other two for practical uses) i was really touched.

well there were many other things that brightened up my day but i'm just lazy to list them all. big thank you to everyone and anyone, simply because i'm too happy today ("be deliriously happy," so they say in Meet Joe Black).
today is finally yet another one of those days that are a break from all the tests and reports. and, what did i do. i read Wild Adapter. something that mel and qianni have to take full responsiblity for getting me oh-so-hooked on. i was never a big fan of gay manga, very much preferring the conventional heterosexual pairings, but they,
they have changed my perspective on that. (:a whole long list of things are over and done with, chem pt, RS report, math test, and today, chem test. i'm happy. (: not that i think i did exceptionally well for chem but hell, if i were to worry about every summative assessment that i did i'd probably have sunken into depression a long time ago and would be sitting atop random HDB block now, contemplating my death and GPA.
two weeks more till june holidays. i'll quote miss ko's favourite phrase,
"NO SWEAT."
