dedicated to sarah p.
sarah p sits next to me in class and is about the most encouraging person i have ever met in my life. she's darn helpful too. that's why today, i am going to dedicate this post to her wonderful self. *kowtows and reveres sarah p.*me: (whines, by the way, whining is bad. so says the principal.) "SARAH I SUCK AT MATH. MATH IS THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE!"
sarah p.: (in a soothing tone) "fang! don't say that! you're very good at math! come on, let me see your working. i'm sure it's just a careless mistake!"
see, she's so darn nice. no matter how busy she is with her own work, she always has time to help me. and, she ALWAYS, and i mean, always sees the best in everyone.
lakshmi's looking at history worksheet.
lakshmi: (exclaims) "FETISHES?!?! what in the world! why do they have such a word in a history text! that's just wrong."
me: "laksh! what is your problem! can you stop finding sexual connotations in every single thing you read?!"
priya: (exasperated) "YEAH!"
sarah p: "oh come on, maybe that's her special talent!"
