national day preview.

went for national day preview last night. the heat was an absolute killer. loved the fireworks the most. i suppose that short moment of brilliance was worth the wait. other than that, my favourite part of the day was just, walking.

walking from kallang to suntec in the cool night breeze with the cars whizzing past us on the highway. it just felt so good not to be rushing somewhere, trying to finish some random piece of homework that i probably didn't really care that much about.

pah.

didn't manage to wake up to watch the germany vs portugal match, was dead tired by the time i got home. but HAHA. germany won! woohoo. take that, man. i'll definitely be up for the finals though. italy! (:

i think i'm weird, or maybe it's normal and thus no one ever mentions it, but i always have random lines from songs ringing through my head, currently it goes:

"dark blue, have you ever been alone in a crowded room?"

i detest the song. especially the tune. everytime it plays on the radio i'll end up switching stations, but somehow, that line just stuck.
