on his face is the map of the world.
music: two beds and a coffee machine by savage gardenfinished reading norwegian wood by haruki murakami. no thoughts as yet, i'm still thinking.
met up with the primary school basketball bunch today and oiled my very rusty joints. as usual, catching up was good, lots of laughter and fun. other than the fact that my face is absolutely burnt (no naz, it's not a baking accident), i'm good.
went to watch yinling's play the other day, and one of the plays quoted charlotte zolotow's work, people.
some people talk and talk
and never say a thing.
some people look at you
and birds begin to sing.
song people laugh and laugh
and yet you want to cry.
some people touch your hand
and birds begin to fly.
i remember this poem because it's the last of all the poems in my sec three lit text, poems deep and dangerous. and i remember liking it for its simplicity and how it reflected what most of us feel.
okay, i really need to get my lazy bum down to doing work. like seriously seriously seriously. go fangxun go fangxun go fangxun!!!
ahh i still haven't felt the impact of the previous statement, but for now i shall pretend i did and go find an article for macro.
