it's like you're moving out of time.
music: love you lately by daniel powterfinally finished reading atlas shrugged by ayn rand the other day. brilliant, brilliant, ideas. she writes with such amazing knowledge of human nature she may as well be an anthropologist.
"Mr. Rearden," said Francisco, his voice solemnly calm, "if you saw Atlas, the giant who holds the world on his shoulders, if you saw that he stood, blood running down his chest, his knees buckling, his arms trembling but still trying to hold the world aloft with the last of his strength, and the greater his effort, the heavier the world bore down on his shoulders--what would you tell him to do?"
"I...don't know. What...could he do? What would you tell him to do?"
"To shrug."

i find myself reading old friend's blogs. those that i've lost touch with, those that i haven't spoken to in ages. just knowing how they're doing, and that they are still around is good enough. i think i've been inspired after receiving jeanting's letter in the mail today. yeah, it's awesome. there's those kind of friends whom you don't see much, but once you do meet up, there's never a moment of awkwardness cause you're just so comfortable around each other.
it's been a rough week, but it's gonna be over soon!
