well not much to blog about today but today's a memorable day so i thought i'd just blog for the sake of blogging so i'd have and entry on this date.music and econs test tomorrow. econs is a pain but at least we have a good teacher. and i am going to kick ass for the test so i can graduate with kick ass grades and get a kick ass job. earn enough money to be comfortable, and then, travel and do good. do good things and good things will come to you, courtesy of my name is earl.

smsing sianying the other day, i forgot what i said, but her reply was, " we are seventeen, i've known you since i was...thirteen. hmmm." where has fours years gone man! crap. i'm totally resisting growing up. is that very wrong because i don't want to. i still talk to my teddy bears. i still hug them to sleep sometimes. i still like to watch cartoons. i still...lots of things. rahh.and for all my beloved rafflesian friends, i got this from sianying's blog. it's worth a laugh or two.
i find it rather cute.

the other side of the wall.
music: stairway to heaven by led zeppelinthe one thing i love about school now is this. that i can be sitting here at three in the afternoon, blogging. after all, i only had school from 9-10.30am today.
reading up on gackt, a japanese singer-songwriter, for music cause i'm thinking of doing my assignment on him. looking through his videos, i stumbled across this absolutely spectacular and gripping video of him performing his first solo single, Mizerable, live. must watch! i wish i were there to watch that man.

round and round, we go.
i am aching all over.ran 4km on thursday.
played ball yesterday.
played ball today.
owww. but then again, man, it's good to be alive.
my favourite shot yesterday was when i was to take shot with the sun shining directly into my eyes, and i couldn't see the basket. releasing the ball purely by instinct and when i heard the "chop", i got this sudden adrenaline rush. it's like, hey, i haven't totally lost touch with my game.
feels good, yes it does.
my month away from school, people, has made me learn more about myself, people, and things around me. it's surprising huh, that you can even end up learning more about yourself when you thought you knew just about everything already. but then round the corner comes some thing, some event, some unforeseen opening, a small crack in the wall. you learn, and you grow. sianying and i were just reminiscing about sec one days and cringing at our stupidity then. then again, without that stupidity, we wouldn't be what we are today.
this time without deadlines to meet, tests to study for, has provided me with the luxury to stare, fixated at one cloud in the sky, watching mother nature shape it with its gentle breeze, read a good book without interruption, write, once inspiration comes.
then reality checks in, reminding you that you have school, work, tests. i'm sure it's not as bad as working but whatever you're experiencing then, during that period would always seem to be the biggest, most important thing in the world then.
GO, FX!

music: bright lights by matchbox twentyokay i couldn't think of a title so i decided to take whatever was the nickname of the next person who signed on to msn. so there it is. and that is, shihao's nickname.
well, it's wednesday and school so far has been fine. am really glad for my wonderful og mates and the many private jokes that we share. i think without them i'd probably be wandering around alone or something.
i love this collage. the photos were taken in kangaroo island at this place called Little Sahara. the sand dunes there were like nothing i've seen before. (okay that's cause i've only seen them on tv) the sand there is sooo fine and it's a total waste if you don't take off your shoes and run through it.
ORA on saturday, and bball batch dinner on friday (tentatively). it'd be nice to catch up with the raffles bunch. goodness knows i do miss them oh so much. all the ccrazy things we do together. hahaha.
but if the bright lights don't receive you, you should turn yourself around and come on home.

marcus!
met up with marcus when i was in melbourne, our dear primary school classmate who migrated and escaped the psles. man. it's been five years since i've seen him! (he's still as short, okay maybe a little taller). he used to have no hair, and i used to have short hair. now he has hair and i have long hair! oh, how we have grown.
as you can see, he's important enough for me to put his name as the title of the entry. apologies for the unflattering flaring of my nostrils, but well, the focus here is marcus.
classes start tomorrow! getting pretty excited about it.

okay picspam. just cause i'm tired from sitting on my butt for goodness knows how long listening to talks today. those photos were taken on the way to kangaroo island and at kangaroo island. alot more, but it'd be time consuming.took the toilet shot cause i thought it'd be funny if someone who was in an urgent need for the toilet was so relieved to see the gas station, only to see that notice.
well, since i'm turning 17 soon and i'll be at orientation camp then, i'll post my birthday wishes/what i want to do now.
1. a BIG dandelion!
2. a house where i can climb up on the roof and watch the stars.

4. go to an automatic CARWASH. (the type where you drive your car in and sit inside, watching the machines working their magic.)
