some things stupid.
#1: don't botheri realised that it's terribly stupid to name an entry "don't bother" and expect everyone not to bother. because obviously, everyone will bother.
#2: incurred the wrath of mommy.
my math sucks. fullstop.
#3: i am STINKY.
i named myself stinky today during PE, so noo, who's SMELLY won't be so lonely. together we're an odourful pair!
#4: c div zone finals!
juniors did a great job at zone finals today. played against zhonghua and won 84-52. which hit jeanting and my target of them scoring at least 80 points. (actually i set it at 100, but we moderated it) still gotta work hard though, be ALERT! one of the biggest weaknesses.
but really, well done team. you guys are zone champs. go on and shine in nats! bring back our raffles spirit. (:
watched a little of the RI vs CH match, this is the first time you'll find me supporting ri, since the opponent team has many, hmm, import players. RI was quite obviously losing. left during half time. thought the RI team put up a good fight.

rekindled my love for westlife today. everyone should listen to flying without wings. that's one of my favourites of all time.watching cosplay vidoes on youtube now. haha. which reminds me, i found a very good cosplay of L from deathnote the other day!
good eh? i thought it was really well done. although it's not hard to cosplay L, but they even took note of his toes. for non-deathnote readers, here's the L i'm talking about.

was reminded of mel's dream of me just now, and it goes something like this.

had english class today and we had spelling. that distant, far away practice, called spelling. felt good to be back in primary 3. (we were only doing dictation from P4 onwards.) and it so happened that someone's pronounciation was so bad we didn't understand what we were supposed to spell.
sarah p.: (whispers) "i am very disturbed!"
me: (whispers back) "why? do you need help?"
sarah p.: (exclaims) "her pronounciation is terrible!"
me: laughs.
but then again, it may be our pronounciation that sucks and thus we think it's hers that sucks. get it? hahaha.
i am trying to figure out how to make those cool string puppets.

deutsch e-learning!
we are supposed to have german e-learning today! so i got to come back home early. whoopeedoo.i have currently grown a surprisingly big appetite. ate alot today, and i am still hungry. salmon sushi is the best! mmmm. i am devouring a piece of toast whilst typing. hungry hungry hungry. i think the monthly affair is coming. ):
sianying has kindly volunteered to be the model for my armpit hair gel commercial! this is going to be the thing that makes me strike it rich! i can totally see the money rolling in already.
we have decided that t-shirts will have holes at the armpits so the hair can be shown off! woohoo. is this sick or what.

what if in a hundred years, it'll suddenly be fashionable to leave your armpit hair long!how wonderful it would be, guys getting attracted to girls for their long, silky mane of, armpit hair! and commercials on tv will no longer have people swaying their head from side to side, but swing their arms chimpanzee style! (now, sianying would totally fit in that era.)
and oh, hair gel. imagine styling your armpit hair. hahahaha.
haha, i wouldn't want to think of that. quite a disgusting thought, i'm sorry. but it may just be possible. i mean, people that existed a few hundred years ago would have never thought humans in this time and age would be stuffing silicon in certain select parts of their body to enhance the overall look of it.
well, we'll just have to see about the hair thing then. although thank goodness, i wouldn't be alive then.

what a strange title for the post, i bet that's what everyone's thinking.well. that's the truth.
i'm in love!
and i don't need anyone's confirmation. he makes me burst with happiness inside, and makes me just want to prance around singing on top of my voice. and when i see him, my heartbeat accelerates and, i just know it.
isn't he just adorable! my very own superman. if only he could give me his ability to fly. see, everything complete with the cape! just short of wearing his underwear on the outside. hahaha. was out with some of the batch for lunch after open house today and ta-daaaa. there he was! so we asked for his mom's permission to take a photo of him and he was so shy! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. call me a paedophile, i don't care.and don't think of stealing him.

just saw the live 8 performance, and the images they had flashing in the big screen behind the performers onstage are still fresh in my mind. upsetting, is too mild a word to use.
i'm going to make big bucks and help them! i really do want to.
i finished two huge distractions today.
#1. korean drama
first time i cried so much because of a korean drama. and it's not even those sappy, "oh my goodness you are going to die and i'll never be able to marry you and live a happy life with you" type. it was the family ties, that were so strong and touching. of course, the romance bit made my heart melt too, but it was mostly the former. i'm glad i'm done with the show.

done with lit test. very fortunately.i'm feeling kinda weird now that there's no more world cup to wake up at the most unearthly hours for. no more match predictions on the papers, no more buzz about who's going to win the upcoming match. so it's another four years of anticipation, and hello, south africa, 2010! (oh, 2010, i'll be 20 years old. wow. i wonder what i'll be like then.)

italy captain, cannavaro.i admire this guy loads. if ever given another chance to lead my team, i would definitely take some lessons learnt from him and use them. unfortunately, i probably won't be able to anymore.
makes me think of how our batch came into rgbball with such high hopes, though not dashed after four years, some dreams that never came true. there was good and there was bad, and ultimately, we ended up with a bond stronger than we ever expected to have when we first took in the fresh faces around us in sec one. a bond, that i treasure so much because i know that it is one that i can always fall back on, one that i can trust with all my heart.
amazing isn't it? ten people of such vast difference in personality, in beliefs, united as one. these are memories i will hold on to forever and never let go of.

national day preview.
went for national day preview last night. the heat was an absolute killer. loved the fireworks the most. i suppose that short moment of brilliance was worth the wait. other than that, my favourite part of the day was just, walking.walking from kallang to suntec in the cool night breeze with the cars whizzing past us on the highway. it just felt so good not to be rushing somewhere, trying to finish some random piece of homework that i probably didn't really care that much about.
pah.
didn't manage to wake up to watch the germany vs portugal match, was dead tired by the time i got home. but HAHA. germany won! woohoo. take that, man. i'll definitely be up for the finals though. italy! (:
i think i'm weird, or maybe it's normal and thus no one ever mentions it, but i always have random lines from songs ringing through my head, currently it goes:

i detest the song. especially the tune. everytime it plays on the radio i'll end up switching stations, but somehow, that line just stuck.

fx is rambling.

aftermath.
you know you're in trouble when you are stuck with yinling for one whole afternoon.for one, she has this natural tendency to start hugging you in the middle of a crowd in public, in broad daylight. of course, attracting much unwanted/unneeded/
the ELDS performance, Aftermath, was really, really good. it's the first school play i've been to that manages to evoke such strong emotions in me. at one point of time, i even felt like crying. well not to mention the parodies of certain teachers, which never failed to get the whole audience cracking. and sarah and mel were spectacular! woohoo. i'm so proud of them.
went to kino with yinling after that, to look for the japanese version of book five of WA that liju mentioned was out, which means that the chinese edition will be out soon enough. :D yippee. *jumps in anticipation* didn't manage to find it though, much to my utmost disappointment. so we went in search of food instead, which was extremely productive. i'm heavily in debt now though, since i had to pay for the milk run and bball t-shirt.
i'm flat broke.
i saw the complete collection of calvin and hobbes!
i absolutely adore them. but all my hopes and dreams of laying my hands on the book were crushed when i flipped to the back of the book and saw the price. somewhere around 285 bucks. can't remember the exact cost, i think it hurt my eyes too much to look at it.
that does it man, this is The Last Straw. i'm going to find myself a fecking rich boyfriend/husband who knows nuts about legal stuff so i can slowly rip him of all his money. and by the time he knows it, it'll be too late. muahahaha.

i currently love orchard for three reasons:
- taka is having a toy fair (i think) and thus they are screening TOM AND JERRY on the big screen there. i love tom and jerry!
- they are having a food fair that stretches down the whole of orchard road and food is one thing i cannot resist. also, for once, it's really good food.
- there's a busking festival going on now, and there are live bands. woohoo hot drummer guys. i'd love to take up the drums, but unfortunately i currently don't have the $$$ to.
this line has been stuck in my head for the whole morning for some weird reason. can't remember which song it's from though.
